Timeline

Below in blue is an email from our placement agency to explain the timeline now.  We're officially playing the waiting game.

As soon as your dossier is fully authenticated and reviewed we will be sending that to Ethiopia. It takes approximately one week to receive in country. The day that we send your dossier to Ethiopia, is the day that you are placed on the waiting list for a referral. It will be translated and go through another level of authentication with MOWA in country. This takes approximately two to three weeks. The wait time for a referral is approximately 3-6 months at this time.

Our dossier is still being "authenticated and reviewed" and has not been approved as of yet.  Our homestudy will need to be included in the dossier and isn't finished because of the immigration paperwork outstanding.  It's a lot to think about but we have learned to trust in God's timing.  There are some days that I cry thinking about this little one waiting for a home but know that she's in God's hands.  I just pray, pray and pray some more that she'll know how much she is loved and that we're coming for her!
