We received a phone call from our home study agency today stating she received "our endorsement letter of approval from the Illinois DCFS". She is forwarding it to our placement agency and also to immigration**. Once they receive it, our homestudy and dossier will be complete and on it's way to Ethiopia. She said it takes about 4-6 weeks for them to process this. Every step brings us closer so every phone call or email is good news to us.
**Our dossier isn't complete without our homestudy being finalized and our homestudy can't be finalized without this endorsement letter from the DCFS and our immigration approval. Confusing? Yes, but we're on our way and praising God for His wisdom and guidance in all of this!
